Honoring the Memory of Geraldine Leonarski

 

     NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (February 22, 2011) – The faculty and staff of the Rutgers Equine Science Center wish to express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Geraldine Leonarski. Please see full obituary below.

 

     “I’ve known Mrs. Leonarski for many years; she was a dear friend of mine and of all NJ 4-H Horse Project members and their families. Gerry will truly be missed,” said Karyn Malinowski, director of the Equine Science Center.

 

     The Equine Science Center honors the memory of beloved friends and family by listing their name on a special area of its website dedicated to those who left an impression on someone's heart.  Please find Geraldine Leonarski's name on the Equine Science Center Honor Roll.

 

Obituary:
      Geraldine M. Leonarski (nee Tolan), 71, of Williamstown, NJ, died on February 17, 2011. Born and raised in Cherry Hill, she lived in Williamstown since 1958.

 

     Gerry was involved with the 4H organization in Gloucester and Camden Counties. Beloved wife of the late Mitchell J. Leonarski. Loving mother of Lisa Kelly (Jimmy) of Farmingdale, NJ, Denise Teesdale (Tom) of SD, and Mitch Leonarski (Anne) of Williamstown, NJ. Grandmother of Staci, Megan, Anthony, Jamie and Katie. Dear sister of Debbie Papaneri, Kathy Martino and Chuck Conroy.

 

 

     In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to Rutgers Equine Science Center, 57 US Highway 1, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
